For our THIRD edition of Birkenstock, we bring you more drums, more poetry, radical roots musicians and art on the walls. This time we’re celebrating the beginning of Spring (ignore that white dust outside) and International Women’s Day (the day to wonder why every day isn’t International Women’s Day).
As always, the event is free because we’d rather have you there than not at all. Of course, you’re welcome to donate money to our very special bucket, which we’ll later pour into the bank account of a very deserving charity. We haven’t decided which charity this will be… suggestions? Leave them on the wall 🙂
Of course, we’re always looking for people to take pictures, cut out bits of paper to stick to the walls, shake the bucket, start a Mexican wave, donate raffle prizes. If you can top the last event’s C*nt Colouring Book, then we’ll name you Birkenstock’s number one patron forevermore.
Anyway, the performers:
and, finally, TYMKO BANGS THE DRUM, who has no video just yet but BELIEVE ME, HER POTS AND PANS WILL KNOCK YOUR LITTLE COTTON SOCKS OFF! Our favourite percussionist in Cardiff, fo sho 🙂
(We have more tbc so watch this space 🙂
SEE YOU THERE! lublub ♥
