Two exciting things happening in Cardiff (in our opinion)

24 Jan

ImageThe first one is FFWFF, a Welsh (but bilingual) anarcha-feminist DIY zine, released in Cardiff every … well, everytime it’s released (we don’t know the specifics). It’s really exciting to have Welsh feminists active on the scene as it adds a bit of variety. Is it wrong to say that the Welsh are the variety? Anyway, if you see a magazine lying around called Ffwff, pick it up because it has some pretty interesting things to say and show.

The Ffwff community can be found here:

ImageThe second one is the Break the Blockade gig which is happening at Gwdihw this coming Sunday (27th January). The organisers and participants will be raising money for those affected by the tensions in Palestine. It’s only £2 on the door – an absolute bargain given the number of artists performing and the sheer good that you’ll be doing with the dosh.
